February 2026 was a sequel month, not a discovery month. What we would spin, what left in the U.S., and why a full calendar is the wrong way to pick.

This is a short, checked roundup — not a full Netflix calendar. Availability changes by country. Set your region on TV Roulette before you spin. Dates below follow U.S. listings from TV Guide and The Hollywood Reporter.

February sat in the shadow of Stranger Things. What remained were returning hits, a licensed comedy pile on the 1st, and a handful of originals worth a wheel click — if you set the filters on purpose.

What we would spin

TV, if you already like the show

• The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 (February 5) — a Friday-night legal procedural. Spin TV, not movies. This is not a “surprise me” title; it is a comfort continuation.
• The Night Agent season 3 (February 19) — the month’s loudest original. High quality, TV, your real country. If you have not seen seasons 1–2, do not start here with the wheel; start at episode one on Netflix.
• Bridgerton season 4, part 2 (February 26) — Benedict’s half of the season. Same rule: only spin this if the household is already in the ton. The wheel is a closer, not a way to “try Bridgerton.”
• How to Get to Heaven From Belfast (February 12) — Lisa McGee’s series after Derry Girls. Comedy, TV, high quality. A better discovery spin than another dating-show season.
• Search Party seasons 1–5 (February 5) — the month’s sleeper. If the group will tolerate odd comedy, this is the licensed add we would rather land on than Night at the Museum 3.

Movies, if you want a single sitting

• The Iron Claw (February 19) — the 2023 wrestling drama. High quality, movies. Heavy; not a tired-brain pick.
• The Black Phone (February 12) — Blumhouse horror. Use it when the room asked for tension, not when they asked for “anything.”
• Ex Machina and Hell or High Water (both February 1) — two of the few February 1 licensed titles we would keep if the wheel offered them. The rest of that day was rom-com and family sequels.

Skip as a discovery spin

Love Is Blind season 10 (February 11) and Formula 1: Drive to Survive season 8 are fine if that is already your genre. They are a waste of a random spin. Crap Happens (February 26) is a German-language Netflix original; it will not appear in every catalog. Match watch region to the Netflix you can actually open.

Watch before it left (U.S.)

U.S. lists had a heavy February 1 cut: Groundhog Day, Parasite, 28 Days Later, Licorice Pizza, The Terminator, and Memoirs of a Geisha, among others.

Later exits worth knowing about:

• Mean Girls (2004) — February 5. (The 2004 film came onto U.S. Netflix in June 2023 and left again here. Catalogs loop.)
• Zodiac — February 17
• Shakespeare in Love — February 20

How to use the wheel on a sequel month

A month of part-twos punishes people who leave genre on All. You will keep landing on shows mid-run.

1. If you want a new story, set movies and quality high. That steers you toward The Iron Claw / Ex Machina instead of season 4 of something you have not started.
2. If you want the new episodes, set TV and spin after the date above. Read the season number on the result card before you hit play.
3. Do not change country to “get better titles.” You will get a library you cannot open. Better is the quality toggle, not a pretend catalog.
